Name
: YVAN HIO
Title :
"L'homme invisible"
Label : Microbe
Yvan Hio delivers here his first electronic work: "L'homme invisible",
whose 11 tracks melt pop, hip-hop and drum & bass.
After one year of preparation, composing & recording in Micobe's
studios, by himself, Yvan was ready to mix his album.
Kid Loco loved Yvan's work, and mixed three tracks ("l"homme
invisible", "les marquises", a Jacques brel cover, "les
songes").
Receiver from Bristol also happily got involved, producing two tracks
("le petit caramel", "chomage" inspired by a Michel
Houellebecq novel). The remaining songs were mixed by Yvan himself ("j'sais
pas", "Frêle esquif", "Berlin") &
mR Neveux ("j'en peux plus", Auguste", "madame Orofino"),
the "house producer".
In this first album, with its very own electronic cardiac beat style,
Yvan Hio whispers a certain nostalgia for childhood, melted with the
poetry of urban and ordinary life.
